After sorting through your wardrobe and favorite pieces and assigning them new homes, don’t worry too much about buying more clothes and accessories just yet; accessorize with the jewelry you still have and punctuate your look with it. The fashion world is full of seasons, after all. So let’s make your jewelry gleam and rich.
1. Simply put, organize.
Before starting, take some time to organize your jewelry and remove anything that you no longer want to wear.
2. Shop like-minded stores.
Organize your remaining jewelry into sub-categories, such as necklaces/earrings/bangles, and consider putting each of these groupings in separate containers, on top of your makeup table or in drawers, to make it simpler to find the ideal item.
3. Keep it visible.
Organize each group into its own container that holds everything and displays everything at the same time. Use a container with plenty of dividers for compact places for smaller items like earrings and rings, and a sock or drawer organizer for bigger pieces like bangles.
4. Build (or purchase) Purpose-Built Storage.
Small items can be neatly organized by grouping them together. Purchase store-bought jewelry trays or use anything similar like drawer dividers or sewing boxes.
5. Put some beauty in it.
Making an attractive display with your favorite, frequently used items can enhance the decor of your room.
6. Don’t limit yourself to the box.
If you love something, simply incorporate it into your wardrobe. I still believe in mismatched earrings, says women’s fashion director Lisa Aiken for Moda Operandi. I like it more than wearing two matching large earrings. It’s edgier than wearing two matching large earrings. There was also a lot of it on the runway for the Spring 2022 collection.
